Bollywood's heartthrob John Abraham was in the city today to launch the trailer of his much-awaited Madras Cafe (Tamil dubbed version). At the press meet, when asked about his take on pro-Tamil groups who demand a special screening of the film, the actor readily agreed and was confident that his film is an unbiased spy thriller set in Sri Lanka. Earlier the protesters sought a ban on the film for allegedly portraying the LTTE members as terrorists.
The film, produced by John and directed by Shoojit Sircar, will release simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil on August 23. In the film John plays the role of a RAW agent who goes on a secret mission to Jaffna.
