After making her debut in the Malayalam film industry, Nivetha Thomas set foot in Tamil cinema as a child artiste in ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s Kuruvi in 2008 playing his sister. Since then, she has gone on to become a popular name after her entry into Telugu films as a heroine. Having worked opposite huge stars namely Jr. NTR, Nani, Nivin Pauly, Fahadh Faasil, Sasikumar, the bewitching beauty is known primarily to Tamil audiences for two roles.
Tamil cinema fans will know Nivetha Thomas for portraying Vijay’s sister in the blockbuster, Jilla, released in 2014, which also included Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. Furthermore, she played a key role in Kamal Haasan’s smash hit 2015 film, Papanasam. That said, a video the actress shared on her Instagram page of herself dancing to Prabhudeva’s hit “Gulebaghavali” song at a private party has gone viral among fans and can be viewed below:
