It is known that much sought-after actor Jayasurya is currently shooting for his film Thrissur Pooram. Now, according to reports, the actor collapsed on the sets and hit his head. It is being reported that the actor fainted while doing his bit and was rushed to the hospital immediately. The composer of the film Ratheesh told a leading daily, “He fainted and suffered a mild head injury after hitting against a metal object. He was immediately taken to a private hospital and the team has taken a break for five days as he needs to rest.”
The report mentions that the actor had been shooting for action sequences for the past 10 days. “I was really exhausted and in the morning when I went to the location, I realised that I cannot do the action scenes as I couldn’t raise my hands,” the actor told the leading media. He also told the leading media that the team was shooting for an emotional scene when he fainted. The report also mentions that the actor went through a thorough check-up at the hospital.
“Somehow, I couldn’t take the sudden drift. Maybe because I was tired. I had a blackout, fell right on my back and sustained a head injury,” he told the leading media. Adding the fact that the shoot will resume after a break as it is Onam as well. The film is looking for an October release.
