Jayam Ravi was seen last in the smash hit action thriller, Adanga Maru, with the star reaping laurels for his intense performance, which was given a double thumbs up by fans everywhere. Since then, Jayam Ravi has been working on his upcoming film, Comali, opposite Kajal Aggarwal under newcomer Pradeep Ranganathan’s direction featuring music by Hiphop Tamizha.
The posters for Comali, which is Jayam Ravi’s 24th film, have gone on to become viral across social networking forums with fans expecting a cracker of an entertainer when it arrives in theatres later this year.
Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi had a while back announced that he has joined hands with director Lakshman for the third time for his landmark film, JR 25, after their previous successful ventures, Romeo Juliet and Bogan. Jayam Ravi’s mother-in-law Sujataa Vijayakumar is producing JR 25 under her Home Movie Makers banner after Adanga Maru with D. Imman announced to score the music. Ever since the project was announced, the next update regarding the film was expected to be regarding the female lead followed by the rest of the cast and the technical crew. That said, it has now been confirmed that actress Nidhhi Agerwal has been cast to play the heroine in JR 25 opposite Jayam Ravi. Her inclusion in the upcoming project incidentally also marks her debut in Tamil cinema after appearing in Hindi and Telugu films.
