Leading Tamil actor Jayam Ravi's next big film, Agilan, being directed by N Kalyana Krishnan and produced under the Screen Scene Media Entertainment Private Limited banner has wrapped production. The makers on Friday released a special behind-the-scenes making video giving fans the first glimpse of the film. With Agilan having the tagline 'King of the Indian Ocean', Jayam Ravi is playing the role of a worker in the harbor, while youth sensation Priya Bhavani Shankar will be seen as a police officer. In the 'Voyage Of Agilan' video, we see the duo in the midst of shooting that also includes a few intense sequences in the sea as well as the harbor, with the team also announcing that the much-awaited Agilan teaser will be out in June.

Agilan is one among the several high-profile projects Jayam Ravi is currently attached to and marks the second collaboration for the actor with director Kalyana Krishnan after their 2015 boxing drama, Bhooloham. Billed to be "a high octane action film shot extensively on the Indian Ocean", Jayam Ravi will be seen once again in yet another unconventional role considering the grand scope of the upcoming film. Apart from Jayam Ravi and Priya Bhavani Shankar, Agilan has an ensemble cast featuring the likes of Karuppan heroine Tanya Ravichandran, Kaappaan fame Chirag Jani, Hareesh Peradi, Harish Uthaman, Tarun Arora, Madhusudhan Rao among others, while the music is being composed by Sam C.S., followed by cinematographer Vivek Anand, editor Ganesh, art director Vijay Murgan, and costume Designer Pallavi Singh forming the core technical team.

Jayam Ravi will be looking to come out all guns blazing with Agilan as his last film, Bhoomi, failed to strike a chord with fans. Apart from Agilan, the actor has several big ventures lined up ahead starting with ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam's ambitious epic historical film Ponniyin Selvan alongside a star-studded cast that includes 'Chiyaan' Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha Krishnan, and several other top names in Indian cinema. Jayam Ravi is also starring in Manithan and Endrendrum Punnagai fame director I. Ahmed's Jana Gana Mana opposite Taapsee Pannu, with talks also doing the rounds about the actor sharing screen space with National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh for an untitled project.
