If reports are to be believed, Ivan Vera Mathiri, which got released recently, is reported to have collected a whopping Rs 7 crores, in just three days. The film marks the second venture of Vikram Prabhu, son of veteran actor Prabhu. Directed by M. Saravanan of Engeyum Eppothum fame, the film also got released in Telugu as Citizen. Interestingly, the film got released in 320 plus screens in Tamil Nadu. All together, the movie is said to have over 500 screens worldwide. Ivan Vera Mathiri also stars debutante Surabhi as the female lead.
