The long-delayed Idhu Namma Aalu with Simbu and Nayantara in the lead is facing few hiccups even now. The film, which has graced theatres today, has been reportedly stayed in North and South Arcot areas. An interim suit filed by financier Sanjay Kumar Lalwani claiming that unless Chimbu Cine Arts settle the entire amount to the financier, they have no right to release the film.

Directed b Pandiraj, the film is bankrolled by Simbu's father T Rajendar and also marks the musical debut of his younger brother Kural Ararsan.
