Legendary singer S.P.Balasubrahmanyam was tested positive for Corona Virus a few days back and he is currently under medication at MGM Health Care Hospital in Chennai. The news came out yesterday (August 14) that SPB’s health has deteriorated and he has been moved to Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The official statement from the hospital management stated that he is on life support and this news created a huge buzz on the social media. SPB’s fans all over the world were highly concerned about his health and since last evening, the fans and well wishers have been praying for the fast recovery of the legendary singer.

All the leading actors and musicians across the country have prayed for the good health of SPB and requested their fans as well to pray for his recovery. Having said that, legendary music director Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja talked in a video, expressing his love for S.P.Balasubrahmanyam. In this video, Ilaiyaraaja addressed SPB as Balu and their beautiful friendship was evident through the composer’s words. Ilaiyaraaja sounded very emotional and the video has made all the fans emotional.

Talking in the video, Ilaiyaraaja said, “Balu, come back soon. I am waiting for you. Our friendship is not just within cinema and music. It is beyond that. Our friendship should not be broken at any time. Even during the times when we had a fight, there was a beautiful friendship beneath and I know that. You also know. I will pray to the God Almighty for your good health. My intuition says that you will recover very soon. Let it happen and I will pray to God for that. Balu, come back soon.” Dhanush shared this video on his Twitter page and wrote, “இறைவா”.

Let us all pray for the good health of SPB who has been an instrumental part in the lives of people across the country. SPB’s son, Charan requested people not to speculate any false news regarding his father’s health and added that he will constantly update about his health condition on a regular basis. SPB Charan in an official statement said, “Thanks a lot for all your concern and enquiries about my father's health. He is in ICU under ventilation. His condition is stable. Don't believe rumours.
