Huma Qureshi, who kick started her career with Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 1, is here to stay.

Having been nominated at the IIFA for the Best Actress award, for her role in the film, the actress expresses, that she doesn't do films for awards. Awards are just a feather on the cap, for her. However, she is happy when she recieves appreciation, be it on twitter or getting private reviews on the film.

"Those are the people who are taking out the time from their busy schedule to watch my film so I'm very happy. I'm glad I can touch their lives in some way and make a difference", she added.

The actress is excited about the release of D-Day, where she will be seen sharing screen space with Arjun Rampal, Rishi Kapoor, Irrfan Khan, Shruti Haasan and Sandeep Kulkarni.
