One of the busiest stars on the circuit - Dhanush can no longer be called just a Kollywood star for he has expanded his repertoire to Bollywood and beyond Indian shores to Hollywood as well. After a stellar 2018 with 2 releases - Vada Chennai and Maari 2, Dhanush is currently awaiting the release of his long pending Enai Noki Paayum Thota, Asuran and Pattas! Meanwhile, he has already begun work on his next, which is currently going by the working title D 40! Karthik Subbaraj has posted on his Twitter handle that legendary Hollywood star James Cosmo will be coming on-board for this movie. James Cosmo is a very popular actor who has appeared in a number of movies like Braveheart, Troy and Wonder Woman, to name a few. He is also well-known as Jeor Mormont, the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, from the super hit TV series Game of Thrones. It is indeed exciting that an actor of such caliber will be seen in a Tamil movie. Earlier, there were speculations that the legendary star Al Pacino would be a part of this movie.

There are reports that Dhanush plays a gangster who takes on a European underworld kingpin, in this upcoming project. Dhanush, Karthik Subbaraj and this entire project's team are currently in London to shoot for this movie. Industry sources state that the unit is planning to shoot non-stop without breaks and complete the shoot in a single schedule, to maintain the movie's budget.
