Before venturing into cinema as a music director with Aambala, Hiphop Tamizha (Adhi and Jeeva) got their initial career breakthrough with the independent music album called Hiphop Tamizhan which released in 2012. This album was a commercial success and all the songs (especially Club Le Mabbu Le and Iraiva)turned out to be a huge hit. Hiphop Tamizha became a sensation among the youngsteres and there has been no look back since then. The grand success of the album paved the way for the composers duo to enter cinema and they composed music for films like Aambala, Indru Netru Naalai, Thani Oruvan, Kavan, Meesaya Murukku, Imaikkaa Nodigal, Natpe Thunai, Comali, Naan Sirithal, etc.

Apart from movies, Adhi and Jeeva were constantly producing independent single songs like 'Vaadi Pulla Vaadi', 'Takkaru Takkaru', 'Kovai Gethu', 'Maanavan', 'Tamizhi', etc and all these songs were also celebrated by the youth. Having said all these, it has now been revealed that Hiphop Tamizha is going to release a new independent album.

Yes! Adhi and Jeeva have gone back to their roots to compose and produce an independent album which will be released on August 15. This album will consist of 6 songs. The first single will be called 'Net ah Thorandha' and it will be released tomorrow (August 6), while the rest of the album will release on August 15. This new music album is called 'Naa Oru Alien' and it will have an interesting theme. Naa Oru Alien will be the second independent album from Adhi and Jeeva and the fans are super excitedly waiting for it. Popular music label Think Music has acquired the audio rights of this album and the songs will be released on their official YouTube channel and other streaming platforms.

Think Music's official statement read, "Think Music has been a pioneer in breaking the Tamil Hiphop genre into the mainstream with Hiphop Tamizha's debut album, 'Hiphop Tamizhan' in 2012. It was the first Tamil Hiphop album from India. In an era dominated by Tamil movie music, the success of this non-film music album resonates even today, as a lot of people in South India might associate the term 'Hiphop' to an artist rather than a 'genre'. Apart from being the biggest Tamil rapper on the planet right now, Hiphop Tamizha is also a successful actor, director, music director, lyricist on another planet. Now its time to bring him home with Naa Oru Alien'".

This new announcement has excited Adhi's fans and music lovers and it looks like the talented musicians have come up with an interesting album. One can be sure that this album will be a good source of entertainment for the fans amidst the pandemic. Check out the official announcement tweet and the promo of the first single below:
