Hansika Motwani starrer Maha is fully completed and ready for release. The film is expected to release when the theatres reopen after the second wave of Covid 19. Maha is directed by debutant UR Jameel, a former associate of director Lakshman, and has music composed by Ghibran. Maha will be Hansika's 50th film and the film is expected to showcase her in a different dimension. Produced by Mathiyalagan under the banner of Etcetra Entertainment, the film features Silambarasan TR in an extended cameo role. The fans are eagerly looking forward to witnessing his performance in the film and his romantic scenes with Hansika and the action sequences are said to be the highlight of Maha.

The teaser of Maha was released a few days before and it opened to a very good response from the fans. The teaser garnered good attention on social media. Having said all this, the latest update is that the film has completed its censor formalities and is all set for release. Yes! The Hansika starrer Maha is censored U/A by CBFC and an exact release date is yet to be announced. The makers made the official announcement regarding the censor details, this evening (July 23). Further details regarding the film are awaited.

Maha features Srikanth in the role of a police officer, while Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, and others play supporting roles. The songs and trailer of Maha will be released very soon. Hansika was last seen in Tenali Ramakrishna BA. BL which featured Sundeep Kishan in the lead roles. Tenali Ramakrishna was a Telugu film which released in 2019. Hansika's last film in Tamil was the Atharvaa starrer 100, directed by Sam Anton. The talented actress has several other interesting projects in the lineup, but Maha will be her next release.
