Director H Vinoth is one of the most promising directors who has gotten blockbuster hits with all three of his movies so far. He first burst onto the scene with his quirky con entertainer - Sathuranga Vettai. The director followed it up with the cop movie Theeran: Adhigaram Ondru. His latest release was the biggie Nerkonda Paarvai, with Thala Ajith in the lead. This movie was produced by Boney Kapoor's Bay View Projects LLP and even before NKP's release, it was announced that the same combination was coming together for Ajith's next movie too. Tentatively titled Thala 60, this movie was supposed to have its launch Pooja towards the end of August with the shooting being planned to begin in September! We now have a major update on this movie's progress.

Our sources close to the development team have revealed that director H Vinoth is currently scouting for locations, for this movie. They also state that the project would go on floors very soon. This is indeed great news as the combo of Vinoth-Ajith-Boney Kapoor have just delivered a massive blockbuster and are sure to re-create the same success with their next project too. However, no details about the storyline, cast and crew of Thala 60 have come out yet and even while celebrating the success of NKP, Ajith fans are eagerly looking forward to know more about this new project!

Nerkonda Paarvai was the official Tamil remake of the blockbuster Hindi movie Pink. This courtroom drama had Ajith reprising Amitabh Bachchan's role of a lawyer and Shraddha Srinath reprising Taapsee's role, from the original. Reiterating the concept of respecting a woman's privacy and talking about women empowerment, this movie resonated well with the audiences and had a very good run in the theatres.
