G.V.Prakash’s Jail has got good expectations among ardent film buffs and it is expected to be one of the important films to watch out for. Jail is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Vasantabalan and features Enga Veetu Mappillai fame Abarnathi as the female lead. Produced by Sridharan Maridhasan under the banner of Krikes Cine Creations, Jail has music composed by G.V.Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Ganesh Chandra and editing by Raymond Derrick Crasta. Due to various finance related issues, the film couldn’t find a proper release for the past few months, but the problems have now been sorted out and the film is ready for release. We can expect Jail to hit the screens after the pandemic.

The makers recently released the first single from the film, a soulful romantic number, ‘Kaathodu Kaathanen’ sung by Dhanush and Aditi Rao Hydari and it opened to an overwhelming response from the fans and music lovers. The song is already a chartbuster and it gave the right kind of start for Jail’s promotion and the fans are eagerly waiting for the film. Meanwhile, G.V.Prakash has revealed some exciting details about the next single from the film. A fun song that talks about friendship is going to be the next single that will release from Jail and G.V.Prakash is sure that this song will turn out to be a friendship anthem for the youngsters.

Taking to his Twitter space, GVP revealed two lines from the song which has got the potential to reach the masses. This song is written by Arivu. Talking about Arivu, he is one of the most promising young talents in Tamil music scenes and he has been involved in various interesting projects. Arivu made his debut as a lyricist in Tamil cinema with 'Urimayai Meetpom' song in Superstar Rajinikanth's Kaala, directed by Pa Ranjith. Post the success, he went on to work as a singer and lyricist in notable biggies like Vada Chennai, Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven, Natpe Thunai, Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu, Pattas, Naan Sirithal, Gypsy, Soorarai Pottru, etc. His last song was the recent viral hit number 'Vaathi Raid' from Thalapathy Vijay's Master, composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
