Music director GV Prakash has released the first single from his debut International album which is called Cold Nights. The first single from this album is called ‘High And Dry’ and it was released by actor Dhanush. GV Prakash has collaborated with popular singer and songwriter Julia Gartha for this English track and the duo together have composed and lent their voices. The lyrics are penned by Julia Gartha. The song sounds really good and it looks like GV has an exciting set of tracks in the album. ‘High And Dry’ has earned a very positive response from the music lovers and fans and GV’s first International song is definitely impressive.

Dhanush shared the song on his official page and wrote, “Heard the song and I’m sure it’s gonna get into the billboards . Glad to launch @gvprakash’s first international single High and Dry. All the very best @gvprakash @juliagartha #HighandDry”. Similarly, actor Suriya took to his Twitter page to congratulate GVP on his first International track. Interestingly, Suriya said that he is in love with the song, adding that he is listening to it on loop mode. He tweeted, “Congrats on the first international single!! @gvprakash @JuliaGartha #HighandDry on loop mode!!!”.

Suriya and GV Prakash share a very good rapport and the young composer has already delivered chartbuster tracks for Soorarai Pottru. A few more tracks are yet to be released and he will also be composing music for Suriya’s next film, Vaadivaasal, directed by Vetri Maaran. GV Prakash is in great form as a music director after the blockbuster success of Asuran's songs and background score. With Soorarai Pottru’s songs also turning out to be promising, days are bright ahead for the talented composer. He has been signed as the music director for Dhanush’s untitled next (D 43) with Karthick Naren under the production of Sathya Jyothi Films. GV Prakash has assured that the album of D 43 will be a big treat for the fans and it will have more prominence of Dhanush as a lyricist.

Apart from music composing, GV Prakash is also a busy actor who is working on various exciting projects simultaneously. Looking at his lineup, he has films like Kadhalikka Yarumillai, Bachelor, Trap City, Kadhalai Thedi Nithyanandha, an untitled film with actor Gautham Vasudev Menon and all these projects are in different stages of production.
