Govt announces Welfare Board for film and TV workers
The Tamil Nadu government officially announced the formation of Film Welfare Board today. The board will function as a welfare body for the film and TV fraternity and work on different schemes that benefits technicians, actors and other professionals from film and TV sectors.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Tamil Nadu, Paruthi Ilam Vazhidi will head the Board and the Director for the Department of Public Relations will be the Secretary.
Other office bearers include Abirami Ramanathan - Exhibitors' Association President, V.C. Guhanathan, FEFSI President, Sivakumar, Khushbu, Sivasakthi Pandiyan, AVM Balasubramanian, Vaahai Chandrasekar, South Indian Actors' Association Treasurer, T.G. Thyagarajan and Small Screen Actors' Association president Viduthalai.
