Good Newwz is an upcoming Bollywood comedy-drama film starring big names like Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani in lead roles. The film is directed by debutant Raj Mehta and produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, Shashank Khaitan and Aruna Bhatia under their respective banners Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films. Story and screenplay are written by Jyoti Kapoor with the dialogues penned by Jyoti Kapoor, Rishabh Sharma and Raj Mehta.

Varun (Akshay Kumar) and Deepti Batra (Kareena Kapoor) have met with the realisation that they need to have a kid before it’s too late. Little do they know that on this reproductive journey, their fates would get tied with another couple - Honey (Diljit Dosanjh) and Monika Batra (Kiara Advani). Their clash leads to hilarious, often ridiculous situations. How they overcome their hatred for each other and learn to take this journey together forms the crux of this ‘dramedy’ about love and acceptance, called Good Newwz.

Good Newwz will be hitting the theatres this Christmas, December 27th and the makers have released the official trailer of the film.
