Vijay Sethupathi - Trisha starrer 96 was nothing short of a blockbuster that impressed the majority of the audience in Tamil cinema. The songs of the film composed by Govind Vasantha were chartbusters, especially the soulful romantic number, Kaathale Kaathale ruled the playlists of many youngsters. The film has been remade in Kannada as 99 with director Preetham Gubbi at the helm. The film stars Golden Star Ganesh and Bhavana in the lead roles with music scored by Arjun Janya.

Though the songs and photos of 99 have not impressed the Tamil audience, it has indeed got a green signal from the Sandalwood audience. The makers have now released the first video song from the film and it is called Gamyave. This number has vocals by Armaan Malik with lyrics penned by Kaviraj. This is the introduction song that explores the lead hero's life as a travel photographer. Gamyave is the Kannada version of the 'Life of Ram' song which we had seen in 96.

This Kannada remake's video song looks breezy and the makers have shot a major part of the song in snowy places. Also, the magic is indeed missing in this video song that was seen through the visuals of Life of Ram song. The Tamil cinema fans have also been expressing their disappointment over this.

Keeping 99 aside, the Telugu remake of 96 is also on cards that is in the pre-production stages. The Telugu remake will star Sharwanand and Samantha Akkineni in the lead roles. Director C Prem Kumar who helmed the original will direct the Telugu remake as well, with Govind Vasantha retained as the music director. For now, here is the video song of Gamyave from 99:
