Gold Stone Technologies to digitalise 11 classics

Gold Stone Technologies Limited, which has recently converted and released the 53 year old Maya Bazaar (1957) as a colour film, has decided to digitalise 11 more all-time classics in the coming months, C. Jagan Mohan, Creative Head of the company, said.

The movies in the proposed list include Missamma, Gundamma Katha, Appu Chesi Pappu Koodu, Shaavukaru, Uma Chandi Gaurishankarula Katha, Sathya Harishchandra, CID and Pelli Chesi Choodu. Dev Anand's Hindi film Hum Dono and a few Tamil and Kannanda classics will also be digitalised, he said.

Directed by K.V. Reddy with NTR as Krishna for the first time, Maya Bazaar will soon appear in a DVD version as well. It took nearly three years for the technicians to convert the film into colour. About 165 technicians put in their efforts in this project, which is going to be the first of its kind in South Indian films.
