Today, the Neethane En Ponvasantham team of director Gautham Vasudev Menon, heroine Samantha and producer Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment, met the press, to talk about their movie! During the press interaction, when asked about a particular scene in the movie, which was filmed in a single shot for over 7 minutes, Gautham explained how he was inspired to go in for such a shot! GVM revealed that he was a big fan of ace directors Mani Ratnam and Martin Scorcese, and was inspired by the single shot scenes in their movies Iruvar and Goodfellas! GVM added that he could convey the body language of the actors through these kind of shots, and though it was difficult for the whole unit to film, it gave him immense satisfaction!
