Director Gautham Menon uses his Twitter space largely to promote works of young and promising talents. He is not quite active on Twitter but when he comes across something interesting, he doesn’t shy away from sharing them. Gautham Menon has now used his Twitter space to heap praise on Soorarai Pottru’s trailer, which was released last evening (Jan 7). His tweet reads as follows, “#SooraraiPottru Angry young man and an in form Suriya. Can’t wait to see you deliver this brother. Thank you @DirSudhakongara. Looks intense, intriguing and theatre worthy (sic)” 
 
Gautham Menon is in talks to direct a film with Suriya. He apparently has a romantic musical script for the Kaappaan actor. Gautham and Suriya have given us two memorable films in the past - Kaakha Kaakha and Varanam Aayiram. They were supposed to team up again for Dhruva Natchathiram, which however got dropped after a grand pooja ceremony due some creative differences between Suriya and GVM. GVM is now making this movie with Chiyaan Vikram in the lead. We hope the stylish Vaaranam Aayiram duo teams up once again for a new project.
