Though his debut film Kadal, directed by Mani Ratnam, received mixed reviews, Gautham Karthik won a lot of praises for his performance in the film. While a lot of buzz is going on about the actor's next, he confirmed through his micro-blogging site, that he has signed a film, to be directed by Sravanan of Silambattam fame and produced by GV Srikanth under his banner SS Creations! The rest of the cast and crew, including the female lead, is yet to be finalized.
