Gaalipata is a 2008 romantic comedy flick, directed by Yogaraj Bhatt which was successful back in the days. This movie starred Golden Star, Ganesh, Anant Nag, Rajesh Krishnan, Diganth, Daisy Bopanna, Neethu aand Bhavana Rao. Gaalipata is bankrolled by SPR Entertainers Pvt. Ltd., the music for the movie was composed by Harikrishna, cinematography by Rathnavelu and edited by Suresh URS. It has now been reported all over the internet that the director, Yogaraj Bhatt is ready to direct a sequel of the movie. And we also learn that Ganesh and Diganth are replaced by Sharan and Rishi in Gaalipata 2.
This sequel is bankrolled by Mahesh Danannnanavar and the filming of the movie is yet to commence soon. The reports also state that Pawan Kumar will reprise the role of Rajesh Krishna. However, the cast of the movie is yet to be officially announced by the crew. The announcement of Gaalipata 2 was made in the December, 2018 and there's been mixed reaction towards the selection of Sharan and Rishi. There are also rumors that the female leads are planned to be retained.
