Actress Vijayalakshmi rose to fame with her role in Siddique directorial, Friends, in which, she played Suriya's love interest and Thalapathy Vijay's younger sister. She went on to do a lot of films in other South Indian languages including Telugu, and Kannada. She was last seen in Hiphop Tamizha's Meesaya Murukku which came out in 2017.


The latest news about her has indeed come as a shocker as the talented actress has been admitted to the hospital due to high blood pressure. According to the reports, Vijayalakshmi is currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) by an expert set of doctors at a private hospital in Bengaluru.


Vijayalakshmi's sister, Usha Devi has put forth an important request to the film fraternity, asking for financial help. Through her latest statement, Usha has said that their mother was recently suffering from health issues and hence the money was spent on her treatment. She also added that the family is in need of money to make Vijayalakshmi's health come to normalcy.


It can be recalled that the actress had attempted suicide after her father's death, that put her in depression. Vijayalaksmi was also seen in Sundar C's small screen production venture, Nandhini, which holds a great audience base.
