Esha Deol was seen in less number of films post her marriage. However, she had agreed to be part of SS Kishen's Footpath 2. Initially it was Hemamailini who was signed for the film, but due to the by-elections, she could not make it. Hence, her daughter Esha has given her nod to be part of the film. Esha will essay the role of a lawyer in this film. The actress will soon start shooting for the film in Bangalore.
