Esha Deol has started working on Footpath 2, directed by young Kishan Srikanth. This bilingual flick being made in Kannada and Hindi, also stars Avika Gor of Balika Vadhu fame, Jackie Shroff and the director himself in prominent roles. Initially it was Hemamalini who was signed for the film, but due to the by-elections, she could not make it. Hence, her daughter Esha has given her nod to be a part of the film. Esha will essay the role of a lawyer in this film.
