Benjamin Keough, the son of Lisa Marie Presley and only grandson of one of most celebrated American singers Elvis Presley has died. He was only 27 years old and was found with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Lisa Marie Presley's representative Roger Widynowski said in a statement Sunday to The Associated Press that Lisa was heartbroken after hearing about the death of her son Benjamin Keough. TMZ reports that Keough died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound Sunday in Calabasas, California. “She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley, she adored that boy. He was the love of her life.” Widynowski said in the statement to the press. The reason for Benjamin Keough’s apparent suicide is not unknown. The investigation is still ongoing and local police have not made a comment on this incident till now. Police said they responded to a 'rescue response' call at about 6:30am Sunday, adding: 'Upon their arrival, they located the victim suffering from one gunshot wound to the upper torso. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.' 

Benjamin Keough was the son of Lisa Marie and musician Danny Keough. Lisa Marie had previously spoken of her son's similarity to her dad Elvis, calling their resemblance uncanny. Lisa Marie, 51, who has three other children, said: “Ben does look so much like Elvis. Everybody was grabbing him for a photo because it is just uncanny. Sometimes I am overwhelmed when I look at him.” Benjamin Keough’s friend Alana took to her social media space to share a few words about him - “Devastated to hear Lisa Marie Priestley’s son Benjamin Keough passed away. My most condolences to your family. May his heart ❤️ be at rest in spirit with YAHUAH. I remembered we all planned to be a roommate when we went on a house hunt. It was pretty wild time. Never forget your smile. We all will miss you.”
