It looks like nature is totally against India as after facing one natural calamity after the other, we now have some more shocking news! An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter Scale has hit Delhi, at 9:08 pm today! This report has been given out by the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) and the tremors were also felt in regions of Noida and Gurugram too. Thankfully, there have not been any immediate reports of loss of life or any damage to property. The actual epicentre of the quake is said to be 16 kms East-SouthEast (ESE) of Rohtak, in Haryana. Some reports state that the tremors were also felt in parts of Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.

Earthquake measuring 4.6 hits Delhi; Tremors felt in Gurugram & Noida!

According to reports, this is the fourth quake to hit Delhi, within the past 2 months. Prior to today, the most recently recorded quake was on May 15th and it recorded a magnitude of 2.2 on the Richter Scale. Before that, an earthquake of 3.5 on the Richter Scale was recorded on May 10th and before that, the first was recorded on April 13th of this year, with a magnitude of 3.5 on the Richter Scale.
