A baffled media listened to Dr. Vishnuvardhan speaking about his ear ailment on the location of Nam Yejamanru. Dr. Vishnu spoke with director T.S. Nagabharana, producers Rajasekhar and Kari Subbu as his avid listeners.

In 2006, while he was working for Neenello Naanalle, his left ear was afflicted with aome ailment and he lost total hearing in his left ear; the ailment is really worrying the veteran actor. He has taken msny treatments but without any effect. He explained the incident of a person named Mani who regained his hearing after 60 years. Apparently, doctors have performed an implant which helped him to regain his hearing. So, Dr.Vishnu is hopeful that his ailment will be cured one day.
