Drishyam and Bairavaa fame Roshan Basheer to get married

Malayalam actor Roshan Basheer made his silverscreen debut with Plus Two (directed by Shebi) which released in 2010. He later starred in films like Innanu Aa Kalyanam, Tourist Home, Red Wine, etc. However, he got his initial breakthrough after his performance in the blockbuster hit Drishyam (directed by Jeethu Joseph) that starred Mohanlal in the lead role. Despite appearing for only a brief screen time, Roshan garnered the audience's attention as Varun Prabhakar (who misbehaves with the elder daughter and loses his life).

Notably, he was retained to play the same role in Drushyam (Telugu remake) and Papanasam (Tamil remake) as well. Later, he was seen playing an important role in Thalapathy Vijay's Bairavaa (co-starring Keerthy Suresh) that was directed by Bharathan. Roshan was seen playing 'Charan', a grey-shaded character in the film. His pictures with Thalapathy Vijay went viral on social media during the filming of Bairavaa.

Now, there is some new exciting news about Roshan Basheer. Yes, the young and budding actor is all set to get hitched and the marriage will take place on August 5. Roshan will be tying the knot with Farzana, who happens to be a relative of Malayalam superstar Mammootty. This wedding will take place adhering to the Government rules and will involve only selective guests.

Talking to Times Of India, Roshan Basheer said, "If the scenario doesn’t worsen further, I will be getting hitched to my love on the 5th of August. Farzana has just completed LLB. The proposal was purely arranged. Farzana is the granddaughter of Mammootty’s uncle. My sister knew her very well. I have also met her a couple of times earlier. Our families decided and later we fell in love."

It can be noted that a few weeks back, Roshan posted a picture with Farzana on his Instagram page and captioned the picture, "Locked", implying that they're engaged. Wishes have been pouring in for Roshan from all quarters and we at Galatta Media send our best wishes to the young actor on this new phase of life. On the work front, up next, he would be acting alongside RX 100 fame Payal Rajput in a new Telugu movie titled 5W's.
