Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor has turned out to be a stupendous success at the box office, while also garnering critical praise as fans continue to throng theatres. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and featuring music by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander, the latest black comedy action thriller is a joint collaboration of Sivakarthikeyan Productions and Kotapadi J Rajesh’s KJR Studios banners and released in Kerala earlier this week taking a strong opening as cinema halls in the neighboring state are bearing housefull signs everywhere. As Doctor continues to enjoy a strong run, the makers are continuing to treat fans with promos, deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes featurettes on a consistent basis and have now officially released the much-awaited 'So Baby' video song featured on Sivakarthikeyan and the film's heroine Priyanka Arul Mohan. 

The 'So Baby' song had turned out to be a phenomenal success before the theatrical release of Doctor, with the visuals showing the lead pair Sivakarthikeyan and Priyanka Mohan in the Ooty backdrop. Sung by Anirudh and Ananthakrrishnan, the song has been penned by Sivakarthikeyan himself and his verses have garnered a double thumbs up from fans for its simple lyrics. The song comes at a pivotal moment in Doctor and shows Sivakarthikeyan and Priyanka Mohan’s relationship progressing to the next level, with the actress currently one of the most popular names in South India. 

Doctor is reportedly nearing the 100 crore mark at the box office and is no doubt a moment of significant triumph for the entire team as they had to initially postpone the film’s theatrical release in view of the 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election and the lockdown later after the state witnessed a sharp rise in the number of COVID-19 cases. Prior to its release earlier this month, there were strong speculations that Doctor would likely be heading for a possible direct OTT release due to the delays. However, the response overall has shown that audiences will lap up good content and Doctor has no doubt proven to be an entertaining watch.
