On Saturday, actress Divya Spandana aka Ramya, who is all set to contest in the Lok Sabha by-poll, filed her nomination papers to contest from Mandya Parliamentary constituency on Congress ticket. While addressing the media, after filing the nominations, her foster father R.T. Narayanan collapsed on the ground. He was immediately rushed to the hospital and breathed his last. Sources say that its was her father who motivated her to join politics and she was extremely close to him. It is indeed a great loss for Divya and her family.
