Director Selvaraghavan's last release was Suriya's NGK which released a month back, opening to mixed reviews. However, the inner detailing and hidden layers that were supposedly present in the film were interestingly decoded by the fans on social media. The fans have also been eagerly waiting to see Selvaraghavan's Nenjam Marappathillai which is facing hurdles to make it to the big screens due to financial reasons. So, for those who have been waiting to know about director Selvaraghavan's next, here is an exciting piece of information.

We are informed by our close sources that Selva's next directorial will feature his own brother and actor Dhanush in the lead role. The additional information is that this project will be bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu for his banner, V Creations. It is a known fact that Thanu signed Dhanush for a 3 film deal post the completion of Velai Illa Pattathaari 2. The first film in that deal is Asuran, directed by Vetri Maaran, which is nearing its finish line.

The second project is directed by Mari Selvaraj of Pariyerum Perumal fame and this project was also already announced. If our sources are to be believed, the third project will be the Selvaraghavan film. Selva and Dhanush is a proven combination that has worked wonders in delivering a quality product. Selva played a vital role in bringing out the performer inside Dhanush and the actor himself has openly admitted about it in many interviews.

The duo's last film together was Mayakkam Enna which turned out to be a favourite film for many youngsters. It is going to be interesting to see how this new project shapes up. Is it going to be the sequel of Pudhupettai? Or a fresh script? Well, time will have to answer. Stay tuned.
