Nazriya's statement about using a body double in her upcoming film Naiyaandi has already created a stir in Kollywood. However, now director Sarkunam, in his press release, has stated that he had not used any body double in the film. He also added that he has asked Nazriya for a close-up shot, but she denied it by saying that she cannot travel all the way from Kerala to shoot for just one scene. The director also doubted that Nazriya has issues this statement as a publicity stunt.
However, Sarkunam said that he is ready to remove the scene from the movie if Nazriya is ready to admit the fact among the press that she is not featured in the 'Inika Inika' song. He further said that the film has obtained U certificate and is a perfect family entertainer.
