The International Film Festival of India is currently on at Goa and the movies in the Indian Panorama are being showcased. Director Ram's Thanga Meenkal is the only Tamil film to have been selected for screening at this year's Panorama. The buzz is that the theatre where the movie was to be screened was packed to the rafters with people from all parts of the world. Thanga Meenkal was screened today, and will again be screened on November 29th! Before the movie was screened, director Ram, producer Sathish Kumar, actors Shelly Kishore and Padmapriya were felicitated. While addressing the gathering, director Ram spoke the most famous dialogue from the movie - "Magalgalai petrs appakkalukku matthum dhaan theriyum muttham kamathil sernthathillai endru!"
Continuing his speech, he added that he was very happy that Thanga Meenkal had gotten him an opportunity to speak in Tamil in front of an international audience!
