Kannada actor Dhruva Sarja and his wife Prerana were tested positive for COVID-19 last week. The couple had been admitted to a hospital in Bangalore. Dhruva opened up about this on social media and also requested people who were in contact with them to get tested “My wife and I have both been tested positive for COVID-19 with mild symptoms and hence chosen to get ourselves hospitalised. I’m sure we’ll be back all fine! All those who were in close proximity with us please get yourselves tested and remain safe.” Now Dhruva says he has been tested negative for COVID-19 now, so is his wife, both of them are safe. Dhruva Sarja who is a nephew of Action King Arjun Sarja, thanked his uncle for his continuous support. He also feels that the blessings of his recently dead brother Chiranjeevi Sarja also helped a bit for his speedy recovery. Dhruva Sarja’s tweet reads “My wife & I have tested negative today for COVID-19.Our gratitude to al ur prayers & mostly my brother's @chirusarja Blessing. I wud like to thank my uncle @akarjunofficial who has stood by me in each & every situation. Special thanks to Dr.Surjit Pal Singh & medical help Rajkumar.”

Dhruva debuted in films with the 2012 blockbuster film Addhuri. His portrayal of Arjun as the male lead, opposite Radhika Pandit, received praise from critics. He signed for his next film Bahaddur with his close friend Chethan Kumar in 2013, starring again opposite Pandit. The film became commercially successful and in April 2015 he signed for Bharjari which was released in September 2017, becoming a blockbuster and giving hat-trick success to Dhruva Sarja. All three films of Dhruv have turned out to be a commercial success at the box office and his next film has been tilted Pogaru which features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. It must be noted that Dhruva Sarja’s cousin and Arjun Sarja’s daughter Aishwarya Arjun has also been tested positive for Corona. We hope even her COVID-19 results turn negative very soon.
