Dhruv Vikram reveals he likes Thalapathy Vijay

The latest star-kid to make his foray into Kollywood is Chiyaan's son Dhruv, who will be making his acting debut with the upcoming movie Adithya Varma, which is the Tamil remake of the super hit Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy. This remake was originally made by director Bala as Varmaa but that project was scrapped when the makers - E4 Entertainment were not satisfied with the output. The remake has now been made again with director Gireesaaya at the helm and it has been titled Adithya Varma. The movie is now slated to hit the screens on November 8th. Meanwhile, Dhruv has been busy gracing a number of college events and at one such recent event, Dhruv has made an interesting statement.

Dhruv was the guest of honour at an event held recently in Anna University. During an interaction with the students there, one of them posed a question as to whether Dhruv was a Thala fan or a Thalapathy fan. To this question, Dhruv replied - "Honest ah sollanuma, naan Thalapathy fan!" (To be honest, I am a Thalapathy fan!) This set of a frenzy amongst all Vijay fans in the gathering and had a raucuous response from them with whistles splitting the ears! A video of this event has been released online and has been going viral on the virtual world. Dhruv's Adithya Varma will have Banita Sandhu as the heroine and will also have Anbuthasan in a vital role.

Meanwhile, Thalapathy Vijay is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated Bigil, which is scheduled to hit the screens for this Deepavali. This Atlee directorial has Nayanthara as the female lead and is being produced by AGS Entertainment. The cast also includes Jackie Shroff, Vivekh, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Indhuja, Reba Monica John and many others!
