The audio of Prakashraj's second directorial venture Dhoni, produced by Prakashraj himself under the banner of Duet Movies, was launched by the film's music director and legendary Ilaiyaraaja at a grand ceremony held at Anna Centenary Library on January 28.
K. Balachander, Balu Mahendra, Mahendran, Nasser, Jeyam Raja, Parthiban, K.S. Ravikumar, S.A. Chandrasekar, Na Muthukumar, Radha Mohan and others were present. The highlight of the event was the live orchestra conducted by Ilaiyaraaja himself.
Speaking to the media before the event, Ilaiyaraaja said, “This is a film which raises many questions about education and those responsible must answer to them.”
Besides direction and production, Prakashraj handles a meaty role in the film as the hero's father. Director Puri Jagannath's son Akash is playing as Prakashraj's son, while Radhika Apte plays the female lead in this film, made in Telugu and Tamil. The film is slated to release in February.
