Harish Kalyan's recent release Dharala Prabhu opened to positive reviews from fans and the critics as well but the run of the movie got affected after theatres were ordered to shut down due to the ongoing pandemic of coronavirus. Dharala Prabhu is the official remake of the Hindi film Vicky Donar which featured the versatile actor Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam in lead roles. Dharala Prabhu had Tanya Hope as the lady lead with the veteran actor Vivek playing an important role. Directed by Krishna Marimuthu, this film was produced under the banner of Screen Scene Media Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Music directors Anirudh Ravichander,  Bharath Sankar,  Inno Genga, Kaber Vasuki, Madley Blues, Oorka - The band, Sean Roldan and Vivek - Mervin has composed different tracks in this movie. The background score is done by Bharath Sankar. Selvakumar SK is the dop and Kripakaran is the editor.

Following the lockdown, Dharala Prabhu was released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime a few days back and now, a new sneak peek video has been released online. In the sneak peek video, the lead character, Prabhu is approached by a fertility clinic doctor to donate his sperm and make some quick money. Watch the new video from Dharala Prabhu here,
