Having starred in several Tamil films early in his career, it was Vetrimaaran’s action drama, Polladhavan, starring Dhanush, which made the industry look back at actor Pawan.
Pawan as the character ‘Out’ went on to make quite a lot of heads turn around in Polladhavan as actor Kishore’s man-at-arms and aide.
Since then, he has gone on to star in several Tamil films, but is now all set to be seen once again in Vetrimaaran’s upcoming next, Vada Chennai as the character Vel.
A highly anticipated action gangster drama, Vada Chennai announced for a September release will see Dhanush in the lead role under his Wunderbar Films banner to be presented by Lyca Productions with music by Santhosh Narayanan.
Said to be a trilogy, Vada Chennai includes actress Aishwarya Rajesh as one among the two female leads.
Actress Andrea Jeremiah too will be seen and has been paired opposite director turned actor Ameer Sultan.
As for Pawan, he will be joining Vada Chennai’s ensemble cast which also has Samuthirakani, Kishore, Daniel Balaji, Karunas, among others in vital supporting roles.
