The multi-talented Dhanush is currently busy with the shoot of Vetri Maaran's Asuran and the star is also eagerly waiting for the release of his long-awaited Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta which is expected to release soon.


Dhanush made his directorial debut with Pa Paandi in 2017 starring himself, Rajkiran, Revathy and Madonna Sebastian in lead roles. The movie went on to become a big hit film cementing Dhanush's place as director. After the success of Pa Paandi, Dhanush announced his second directorial under the banner of Sri Thenandal Films.

 

Tentatively called DD2, the movie was launched on September 6, 2018, in Tirunelveli. The movie is a multi-starer featuring Nagarjuna, Sarathkumar, SJ Suryah, Aditi Rao Hydari and Srikanth in pivotal roles and the venture was touted to be a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. The shoot of the movie went on floors soon after the launch.


After the initial schedule, the team had been on a break and was silent about the venture. And now, sources close to us have come out with a shocking info about the movie. The major news about Dhanush's second directorial is that the team along with the makers have decided to shelve the project. The reason for the decision is yet to be revealed.
