Superstar Rajinikanth's Annaatthe is all set for a mega grand theatrical release on November 4 marking the festive occasion of Diwali. The film is expected to take a humongous opening at the box office as the hype surrounding the movie is huge. The first two songs - 'Annaatthe Annaatthe' and 'Saara Kaattrae' have opened to a good response from the audience and the fans are eagerly looking forward to listening to the rest of the songs in the album. D Imman is the music director of Annaatthe and the National Award winning composer is expected to deliver his best for this blockbuster album.

Having said that, Imman has now shared an exciting musical update on Annaatthe and it has made the fans excited. D Imman will be introducing a new Nadaswaram player named KP Kumaran who hails from Jaffna, Sri Lanka. Kumaran will be playing the instrumental version of one of the songs in the movie and it is expected to be one of the highlights of the album. D Imman shared the good news by tweeting, "Immense Joy to Introduce a Nadaswaram player Mr.K.P.Kumaran from Jaffna for my upcoming film #Annaatthe He will be playing an instrumental version of a song in the album! வாழ்க தமிழ் வளர்க தமிழ்! #DImmanMusical Praise God!".

D Imman is known for introducing several budding talents in the music industry and KP Kumaran is the latest addition to that list. Annaatthe, which is directed by Siva of Viswasam fame, is currently in final stages of post production. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film has four female leads - Khushbu Sundar, Meena, Nayanthara, and Keerthy Suresh. Among the lot, Keerthy Suresh will be seen playing Rajinikanth's younger sister, while Nayanthara will be seen as the legendary actor's love interest.

Details regarding the roles of Khushbu and Meena are yet to be known. Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Soori, Sathish, and Abhimanyu Singh are also a part of the film's star cast. For now, check out D Imman's latest musical update on Superstar Rajinikanth's Annaatthe here:
