American country singer and songwriter Chase Bryant announced his engagement to model-girlfriend Selena Weber on Sunday. The news came as the 'Little Bit of you' singer celebrated his 28th birthday and posted a photo of himself with Weber on Instagram where the couple are seen flashing their engagement rings. Bryant captioned the pic, "Can't wait to spend forever with you my love. Best birthday present ever, was you saying yes to eternity!" Weber too shared the same photo on her Instagram page and wrote, "For anyone who knows me personally you know how badly I have always wanted to meet my person. To be with the one God intended me to have a life with." Check out the post here:

According to PEOPLE, Chase Bryant and Selena Weber brought home a new puppy, Goose, introducing them to their elder dog, Trigger. As of now, no details about their wedding plans have been divulged or how the 'Change Your Name' singer's proposal went down apart from their posts indicating the question was popped in Texas. Meanwhile, Bryant recently opened up with PEOPLE about his mental health and the ups and downs in his personal life for the release of his latest album revealing that he survived a suicide attempt in 2018 and was suffering from acute depression.

Chase told PEOPLE, "I was chasing success… I wasn't chasing happiness. I was trying to be something I wasn't. I was just being who they told me to be. I was doing what they told me to do, and that was somewhat easy at the time because everybody was filling me with this gratification, and I never really had that from anybody. I never felt that feeling." The 'High, Drunk and Heartbroke' has since made a recovery and is now looking for the next important phase of his future. He stated, "Now I'm not scared. I realized everything happens for a reason. There is a purpose. It's like God said, 'Here's your second chance.' It's the best second chance I've ever been given."
