The first single song from Chiyaan Vikram’s Cobra was released recently and it has got a wonderful response from the fans and music lovers. The makers released ‘Thumbi Thullal’, a romantic celebration song, composed by A.R.Rahman and crooned by Shreya Ghoshal and Nakul Abhyankar. The film has crossed over 3 million views on YouTube and it has come as a musical treat for all the fans. Having said that, recently, a young talented musician, Sahana performed the instrumental version of the song on her keyboard and the video went viral on social media. The netizens were totally surprised by Sahana's impeccable talent to recreate the song beautifully. The video became highly popular (over 3.15 lakh views) on social media that it got recognised by the man himself, A.R.Rahman, who retweeted the video with a smiley.

Now, the producer of Cobra, Lalit Kumar has made a lovely gesture by gifting Sahana a few musical equipment including a Scarlett Solo Studio Audio Interface and Eris E45 Speaker System. Sahana shared this news on her official Twitter page, thanking the makers of Cobra for their kind gesture. For the uninformed, Sahana is a visually challenged child prodigy who rose to fame with her participation and performance in the second season of SaReGaMaPa Lil Champs (Zee Tamil). Sahana emerged as the runner up of the show. The young talent must now be on cloud nine after receiving these precious gifts and appreciations from the team of Cobra.

Talking about Cobra, it is going to be Chiyaan Vikram’s next big release and the film is directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu of Demonte Colony and Imaikkaa Nodigal fame. Produced by Lalit Kumar’s 7 Screen Studios, the film features an ensemble star cast including former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan, Srinidhi Shetty, K.S.Ravikumar, Anandaraj, Mirnalini Ravi, Miya George, Roshan Mathews, and others. Cobra, which has got high expectations among the fans will feature Vikram in different makeovers and it is expected to be the major highlight of the film.

Cobra has cinematography by debutant Harish Kannan and editing by Bhuvan Srinivasan. The makers have 30% of shooting left to be completed and it will be done when the Government grants permission for film shootings to resume.
