Since the time of the teaser release, the Megastar Chiranjeevi's fans are excited and looking forward to witness him as the freedom fighter in the titular role of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy is a man who rebelled against the East India Company, and this period drama is directed by Surender Reddy, who has earlier done films like Kick, Race Gurram, and Dhruva. This movie would be featuring Kichcha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapati Babu, Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty in the star cast with Bollywood legend, Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo. Financed by Ram Charan, under the banner of Konidela Productions, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy finally has the release date. This star-studded movie will be releasing on the October 2nd of 2019, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi. A few reports on social media suggested that the film could be postponed to Sankranti 2020. However, Chiru has officially denied the rumours and clarified that the film is very much on track to release on October 2.
Director Surender Reddy is currently overseeing the VFX and the other post-production works. The songs for this movie is composed by Amit Trivedi and the background score is composed by Julius Packiam. With the budget of over Rs. 250 crores, the visuals of this film is handled by R. Rathnavelu and edited by Sreekar Prasad.
