The movie has been cleared with a U certificate, Cheran's 10th straight U, and is awaiting release. Meanwhile, Cheran has come up with an innovative strategy to combat the effects of piracy on his movie. It is reported that Cheran has decided to release JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazkhai on the internet, DVD's and satellite and all other common platforms at the same time as the movie's theatrical release, to reduce the possibilities of piracy. This is quite a bold move by the filmmaker. Let's just hope it succeeds!
