Bollywood stars, have left no stone unturned, when it has come to social service. Indian cinema's biggest movie stars, have joined hands together, to raise funds for and NGO from Banglore, Parikrma, which provides world class education to the under-privileged children. The founder and CEO of Parikrma Humanity Foundation, Shukla Bosa and Shaina Ganapathy of Bangalore-based Embassy Group, along with Megastar of B-Town, Amitabh Bachchan and author-social commentator, Shobhaa De, have together, launched Parikrma's Jeanaraation, at Taj Lands End, at Mumbai. The celebs will auction their jeans to raised the funds for this NGO, which in turn, will be use these proceeds, to help fund college education for the children of Parikrma.

The revolution of equal education began, with Big B, giving his autographed jeans to the Parikrma children. The children felt privileged, to have gotten a chance to interact with Amitabh Bachchan.

Parikrma has tied up with EBay to host this auction. This will be launched in October and will be running for 2 weeks. B-Town Superstars Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Saif Ali Khan, Anushka Sharma, Shahid Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut and the South superstars like Suriya, Madhavan, Trisha, Dhanush, Rana Daggubati and Vikram, will be putting up their jeans, for auction. Totally 25 stars will be auctioning their jeans.

Founded in 2003, this NGO looks after children who come from slum communities and orphanages in Bangalore, from kindergarten to Grade 12. It also provides them with scholarships to go to college. So far, two batches of children are pursuing Engineering, Medicine, Law, Hotel Management and other courses at mainstream universities.
