As reported earlier, Galatta plays in the Celebrity Badminton League, with our badminton team titled as CRV Pelicans. The tournament which was slated to be conducted on July 25th has been postponed, due to the delay in the issue of Visa for the players. The team acquired by our CEO C.R. Venkatesh comprises of a bunch of young stars such as Aravind Akash, Diwakar, Ganesh Venkatraman, Mahendharan, Praveen, Sreeman, Vijay Yesudass, Gayathri Ragu Ram, Maheshwari, Meena and many more. Headed by the aggressive badminton player Bharath, the team will soon head towards Canada for the tournament. However the official announcement regarding the finalized date of the match is yet to be made in the coming days. Meanwhile, the Pelicans team are extensively engaged in the practice sessions.
