Boni nearing completion
The shooting of debutant director Raj Pippala's Boni, produced by the music director-turned-producer Ramana Gogula under the banner of Green Mangoes, is nearing completion. The film stars Sumanth and Kruti Kharbanda in the lead roles.
Producer Ramanga Gogula said he is planning to release the film either by the end of May or in the first half of June. "If anyone asks me, I could say that music is the highlight of the film. After my earlier musical hits Satyam and Godavari, this film got such a massive response. Even re-recording was done excellently," actor Sumanth said.
Trinetrudu, Sudha, Bharani, Surekha Vani, Jayaprakash Reddy, Naresh, Chandra Mohan, Rajesh, Ahuti Prasad, Harshavardhan, Kota Shankar Rao, Sutti Velu Babloo, Venu, Satya Prakash and Kallu Chidambaram are in the supporting cast. Cinematography is handled by Andrew, editing by M.R. Varma, choreography by Noble, stunts by Vijay and lyrics by Ram J. Sastry.
