As we all know, producer Boney Kapoor is currently handling three mega biggies in three languages - Valimai with Thala Ajith in Tamil, Maidaan with Ajay Devgn in Hindi, and Vakeel Saab with Pawan Kalyan in Telugu. Valimai has got huge expectations among the fans and it is going to be Ajith’s next release after the success of Viswasam and Nerkonda Paarvai. According to the latest official developments, Boney Kapoor has acquired the Hindi remake rights of Anna Ben's critically acclaimed film, Helen. Yes! The film’s remake rights have been acquired and Boney - Sridevi’s daughter, Janhvi Kapoor will play the lead role. According to reports, the film will be jointly produced by Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP and Zee Studios. The pre-production works have already begun and the makers are planning to go on floors in the first quarter of next year. Details regarding the director and rest of the cast and crew are yet to be known.

Helen's director Mathukutty Xavier took to his social media page to share this good news with his followers and well wishers. An elated Mathukutty wrote, "Helen, since the day it released, it has never stopped making us proud. Thanks to everyone who stood with me in this journey. So glad that a very small phone conversation started all of this. Thank God for everything! 😊😊😊".

Boney Kapoor is someone who is known for remaking proven winning contents in different languages and the latest project to join that list will be Helen remake. Helen earned both critical and commercial success for its gripping screenplay, beautiful emotions and strong performances from the lead actors. Produced by Vineeth Sreenivasan, Helen starred Anna Ben, Lal, Noble Babu Thomas and Aju Varghese in the lead roles.
